legends will live on forever
been so freakin busy for the whole of august.. started wid Project Khon Kaen ( fuckin brilliant most meaningful thing i think i ever did in my life).. then after that an O & G attachement at KKH ( thanks yanni for making it really interesting) and then a week of holiday wid family around Malaysia.. but all of these were fun!! time flies when you're having fun.. in just two more weeks im starting 2nd year of med school.. oh my gosh i cant believe it, im gonna be a freakin 2nd Year Medic.. I guess the frequency of partying has to be cut down from last year, year 1 was slack.
Anywayz, it has been a weird few weeks. I think it started out with Steve Irwin's passing. I first heard about Steve Irwin's passing driving back from Jusco, and i was utterly shocked. I felt that emotional pain like i have lost someone i knew, for the next few days, everytime i think about it it makes me have that sinking feeling. Though i thought Steve Irwin was a real nutter doing what he did, I felt he was really passionate towards his family and work especially, he went where no one would even dare venture. He gave everything to the environment. I admired how he was enthusiastic in everything he did. May he rest in peace.......
Secondly, Andre Agassi and Michael Schumacher both announced their retirements. It is definitely an end of an era for their respective sports, Agassi was always the crowd favourite for what he brought to the game of tennis, and Michael Schumacher is a fucking amazing driver. Come to think of it, i feel quite old now, all these sports icons are one by one retiring.. haha... and i dun think the younger generation of sportsmen know about all the hard work and perseverance that the older generation had to put in to push the boundaries to the max.. i dun think there will be another 7 time consecutive tour de france winner, another 7 time world champ, another tiger woods.. hai i hope im wrong..
Anyway, it was nice to see my juniors all over again, cuz christine and lipeng came down from KL.. ahha, though it wasnt for long, it was nice just talking and crapping to them and also with the rest of the concordians.. next time when u guys come down, stay in JB longer k, it's not THAT boring.. jtea show u wrong thing la. haha.
Two nights ago, went to MOS wid navin ian arnold. we were suppose to go to gotham but hai LONG LONG story we somehow ended up in MOS paying fuckin loads to get in!! hehe, well it was my first time in MOS, first impression wasnt really good la, when i walked in it wasnt amazingly happening, tho as it got later.. it got really packed man at the R n B rooom, crazy, why cant they just make the dance floor cage bigger!! hehe, anyway, we met dhanesh there, with his friends..(to eunice, *dances with open arms* heheh.. dun throw evian bottle at me lah). ahah.. and then saw yi sze!!! oh my god what a surprise haha. yeah and her two friends are damn funny la. seriously man.. ahha, anyway, it took a while for the songs to warm up and overall it was great fun with great company! went mac's after that to eat wid navin and yi sze and her friends.. hehe, saw shan wee... erm, yah . hehe, sleptover at navin's.. thanks dude for the PT kit. haha.
I think the best feeling I had on Sunday ( other than MOS) was blasting "built me up buttercup" while driving after it had just rained... dat warm feeling. haha.
